The gardens at Le Grys Farm are a haven for wildlife and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view. An owl swoops low over the fields, hares race across the farm track and on a clear night, the vast Norfolk sky shimmers with stars. Painted by artists; studied by historians; and loved by anyone who treasures wildlife, Le Grys Farm is a very special place indeed.

  2. Deer can be such a problem for gardeners, but no one can dispute their charm as photographic subject! The bluebells are beautiful, too! We do not have a deer problem at all here, because my little pocket of woodlands is wrapped around by modern suburbia with streets and cars and barking dogs.

    1. You are very fortunate. We have had problems in the past with them damaging apple trees, but the rabbit fencing puts them off. I watched this one looking at the orchard and turning away, which is a relief since it might have jumped over the fence.

  4. Aw, what a treat. I guess Deer can be a problem for some gardeners, but when you get magical moments like this only occasionally, doesn't it just make your day.

    1. It really does, Alistair. This one came so close to the house, we could barely believe our eyes.
